About the Programme
“So, You Are a Luton Creative?” is a collaborative initiative by Radio Lab (University of Bedfordshire) and Culture Trust Luton. The programme is designed to promote local creatives, highlight Luton’s creative scene, and showcase the work of Radio Lab and the Culture Trust. Through short, engaging audio features, we provide a platform for artists, designers, musicians, and digital creatives to introduce themselves and their work.
Each feature will be shared via some or all of the below:
Radio Lab (FM and online platforms)
The Hat District website and social media
Participants can request a copy of their feature upon release.
Permissions & Agreement
By submitting your responses, you agree to the following:
1. Use of Your Submission
Your audio submission may be edited for clarity, length, and suitability while remaining true to your words and intent.
Edits will be made only to fit the format and duration of the programme (typically 3-5 minutes).
There will be no intensive review cycle, we will edit, you may listen before it airs, and you can provide comments before it goes live.
2. Permission to Publish
You grant Culture Trust Luton and the University of Bedfordshire (Radio Lab) permission to use, edit, and publish your recording as part of So, You Are a Luton Creative?
Your feature may be promoted and shared on affiliated platforms.
3. Final Review & Release
You will be notified before your recording goes live and given an opportunity to listen and provide any comments.
Once aired, the recording will remain available as part of the programme’s archive.
